Design is fine. History is mine.

Imagine a time with no computer

A highly unusual and hard-to-find promotional booklet created by the design studio Crosby/Fletcher/Forbes for the swiss pharmaceutical company Roche in 1971. It introduces a newly developed medication intended to help manage anxiety, with the content tailored specifically for medical professionals who could prescribe it.

Happy to say I own this book: infographics at their best, striking colors and undeniable design quality.

The credited designer, Mervyn Kurlansky, worked at Crosby/Fletcher/Forbes beginning in 1969 before going on to co-found Pentagram in 1972.

“The artwork is done by Wolf Spoerl, and design by Madeleine Bennett.” Via Fonts in use.
