Imagine a time with no computer

Johannes Molzahn (1892–1965) and his graphic design for the german Fagus Werk, a shoe company, which is well known by the architecture of Walter Gropius.

Molzahn was a friend of Gropius and he recommended the young talent (he wasn’t a bauhaus student but in the periphery) to the company. He had just opened a “Reklame Buero” and was happy about the client. From 1922 to 1925 he created a complete Corporate Identity. Then Herbert Bayer took over, but that’s another story.
