Design is fine. History is mine.

Dagobert Peche (1887-1923).

Dagobert Peche was a brilliant, versatile and eclectic designer who joined the Wiener Werkstätte (Vienna Workshop) in 1914, and in fewer than ten years created over 3000 objects of great beauty, energy and imagination that were characteristically full of movement, light and playfulness. His objets d’art were distinguished by their linear grace and creativity, his jewellery designs were impressive and elegant studies in miniature sculpture, and his designs for textiles and wallpaper were notable for their extraordinarily vivid colours and patterns. Peche’s career came to an abrupt end with his untimely death at the early age of 36.
