Although Ludwig Mies van der Rohe is usually named as the designer of this piece, Lilly Reich played a crucial role in the design of all his furniture (especially his famous chairs) in Germany. Reich worked closely with Mies for over a decade.
Barcelona Daybed, made by Knoll International since 1953. Although the daybed wasn’t displayed at the International Exposition in Barcelona, it was part of the same design ethos as the Barcelona Chair
